The large oval roaster with two handles is ideal for cooking, searing and braising large portions of fish and meat. It ensures a crispy skin and the meat inside becomes juicy and tender, if using the heat-resistant lid, the food will also cook evenly. Made in Germany from red Silargan, a functional ceramic with nickel-free surfaces which is dishwasher safe, cut / scratch resistant, oven safe, heat resistant up to 250 ? C (with lid 180?C) Silargan roasters are suitable for all types of stoves - including induction. The base of the roaster has a solid steel core allowing fast heat conduction as well as optimal heat storage for energy-saving cooking.
